As much as I like downplaying the incompetencies of Kattelox Police officers, I think that there will always be the one which comes off as indifferent because it's all about the paycheck. Then again, that would explain why he was put on mundane patrol...

A close friend of mine pointed out that realistically, it would be improbable for Rock to have heard which direction the gunshots came from because sounds made in confined spaces will be subject to echoes, making it hard to pinpoint. I guess you learn something each day. :p
