Summary
A small girl holding a PET is riding inside a black limousine driving towards Akihara Elementary. Her navi tells her that they will be arriving there shortly, and she nods. Meanwhile, Meiru and Netto are on their way to school as she says she overheard some teachers talking about a new transfer student coming today, and that she's the daughter of GABCOM's president. Netto asks whether it's the same GABCOM that makes games, but is interrupted by Dekao who greets Meiru, and she politely responds back. Dekao tells Netto to stay away from her as he shoves Netto away, and Netto says it's unpleasant, but is distracted as the black limousine drives up into the schoolgrounds. A long red carpet is unrolled from the limousine all the way towards the school entrance as everyone watches in awe. The driver opens the door as the small girl steps outside smugly, and her forehead flashes bright.

In class, teacher Mariko writes the girl's name on the board, introducing her to the class as Yaito Ayanokoji. The class begins to speak among themselves as Mariko tells the class to settle down, saying that Yaito transferred to the school from England this spring. At the same time, Yaito's navi speaks with Rockman, Roll, and Gutsman, explaining that Yaito was supposed to be in 3rd grade, but was given special permission to attend the 5th grade due to her outstanding grades. The navi apologizes for his lack of manners, and introduces himself as Lady Yaito's faithful navi Glyde. Rockman introduces himself and extends his hand out to shake Glyde's, but Glyde notices Roll and introduces himself formally and kisses Roll's hand, angering Gutsman. Back in class, Meiru asks what Yaito's hobbies are, and she says her hobbies range from reading to classic opera, theater, and all sorts of art. The class responds in awe, and Yaito takes out a disc and says to know more about her by watching it. Yaito inserts the disc into the classroom computer, and the screen starts with the GABCOM logo as it fades out to a video introducing Yaito with a voiceover. Mariko pauses the video and asks if the promotional video would be long, and Yaito says this is only a digest (shortened) version and that it'll be about an hour long, shocking Mariko.

Meanwhile outside the school, Masa talks to himself remembering the good times at the school and how he had a kind female teacher who cared for him. He then drives off on his bicycle, shouting to the kids to take their calcium. The school bell rings, with classes beginning.

Back in class, Yaito writes out English on the classroom display quickly, impressing both the students and Mariko. She then does the same with a long mathematics formula, finishing with the solution being 1. Everyone watches amazed, and Mariko says it's correct, or at least so she thinks. Yaito proudly stands as her forehead shines again. At 12:30, the class is on break for lunch as everyone except Yaito starts eating their school meal, who simply stares at her lunch. Teacher Mariko asks what's wrong and if she's sick, and Yaito responds that she's not ill as she snaps her fingers. Immediately after that, dining staff enter the classroom wheeling in a food tray and a bottle. They take away the school lunch, and cover her desk with a white cloth as they serve her lunch and pour strawberry milk out of a bottle into a wine glass. She drinks it, saying it's good and acceptable. One of the dining staff removes the dish tray cover, revealing a large beef fillet with sauce. He tells her to enjoy it while it's still warm, and Yaito thanks them before eating. Netto and Dekao say it looks amazing as they watch envious at the luxury meal while Meiru calls them pitiful, but teacher Mariko does the same to Meiru's surprise.

Inside a waterfall with a skull-shaped structure, Wily addresses the next WWW operative who he calls Iroaya Madoi. She shows off her painted nails, asking Wily if they look pretty. Ignoring her question, Wily asks about her plan and she says to not put her in the same level as Count Elec, and that she already has one in mind and finishes her call with "Delete". Wily sighs to himself, saying she hasn't changed.

After school, Netto and Dekao sneak to Yaito's home, revealed to be a huge mansion with a large garden. They peek through the large fence, and Netto says it's just as expected of the president of GABCOM. Dekao says he can't find any entrance since the place's so big as both of them look around a bit more. Netto finds part of the fence cut out, saying they can just enter from here, and Dekao says it's perfect. Rockman tells Netto that he shouldn't do that, and they should find and enter through the proper entrance. Netto says it'll be fine since they're Yaito's classmates, with Dekao agreeing with Netto. A camera hidden inside a nearby tree tracks their movements while Yaito is having teatime at home. Glyde appears on Yaito's PET, and she asks him what is it. Glyde reports to her that he has been notified by home security, and tells her to watch the screen. A painting above her slides downwards, revealing a large display and turns on showing both Netto and Dekao making their way through the garden. Glyde says that he knows that they're Lady Yaito's classmates so he thought to let her know first, and she says that trespassing is bad and to give them a little surprise as she laughs slyly to herself. Dekao and Netto are lost inside a rose garden, and they wonder how far it goes as they are interrupted by an intruder alarm. Netto turns around saying that they're Yaito's classmates, but finds a giant lawnmower heading towards them. The two make a run for it as they escape the lawnmower and make it inside a large field of tennis courts and close the fence behind them. They both try catching their breath, but the intruder alarm goes off again, and several Cannon-styled tennis ball launchers pop up from the ground and fire tennis balls at them as they both escape again. They hide below a Athena statue, but the alarm goes of again as the Athena statue and several others around them open up and shoot them with water cannons while Yaito watches in laughter. Both Netto and Dekao manage to escape again but they are exhaused and think they've gotten away, only for a cage to rise from the ground, trapping them. Dekao blames Netto for saying they should enter from that hole, but Netto says Dekao suggested the same thing. Netto notices a plug-in port on the cage, and takes his PET out asking Rockman to do something about it. Rockman tells off Netto, and Netto apologizes and asks for Rockman's help. Rockman says he'll talk to the security program, and Netto plugs in into the port. Rockman arrives in the cyberworld and he asks if anyone's there. Glyde arrives, and Rockman asks him to help out Netto and Dekao. However, Glyde told him that they were trespassing and that what happened to them is obvious. Rockman aska again for help, but Glyde simply snaps his fingers and Rockman is sent through a hole in the ground, and Glyde says that it leads to the exit. Netto and Dekao are shown sliding down a tunnel and straight out of the mansion grounds. They fall flat on the ground, and they say they're sorry.

The next day, Madoi is seen walking in a park near town while at school teacher Mariko is teaching the class about security holes, and continues by saying this is why firewalls are so important. The next scene shows the town's traffic system operating normally, but one of the traffic lights' network starts to malfunction and suddenly changes to red, causing the drivers to be confused while other cars begin to crash as people watch, now revealing all lights have become green. This causes chaos across town as the traffic system staff see the problem expanding across their entire traffic network, and that they're unresponsive. Within the traffic network, a netnavi is revealed to be changing the traffic lights eratically while releasing several Met viruses. The viruses start damaging the network, as the traffic staff's display worsens. Outside, traffic has come to a standstill as people start leaving their vehicles and see what's going on. Reports of the traffic incidents continue as the situation worsens. Madoi tells Coloredman to continue his rampage and she'll be there soon, and Coloredman acknowledges it, signing off with saying "Delete" while Madoi laughs at the chaos being caused.

Back at school, classes finish for the day as the students say goodbye to each other. Yaito is in the classroom about to leave, but feels uncomfortable and sneaks her way to the bathroom. Right in front of the school bathroom, she is caught off-guard by Meiru who asks if Yaito needs to use the bathroom. Embarassed, Yaito says a lady like her doesn't need to use the bathroom, and walks the other way much to Meiru's confusion. Afterwards, the traffic has come to a standstill and Yaito's limousine is caught in the traffic, causing her to feel uneasy. She asks her driver what's going on, and he replies that there's not much he can do and the traffic's so packed that it'll be hard to even leave the car. Yaito looks around and Glyde asks what's the problem, and she replies that there's nothing wrong. She then gets an idea, asking Glyde to check out what's causing the traffic jams. Glyde accepts, and requests Yaito to plug into the global LAN. Yaito plugs her PET into the limousine's port and Glyde says he's on his way, and Yaito tells Glyde that it's an emergency. Glyde arrives in the global network, wondering if he can speak to the programs responsible for the traffic conditions, only to see several viruses wrecking the area. Glyde reports to Yaito that the computer viruses causing this will take time to deal with. Unable to hold it in any longer, Yaito opens the car door and tries to force her way out by stomping on the door, but the door can't open far enough for her to get through. Her driver tells Yaito that this would only cause problems to the other drivers, and she gives up and gets more irritated. Meanwhile, Glyde fights the incoming virus wave using a Cannon, defeating them quickly. He turns around and sees a giant ball hurling towards him from above, and screams in terror.

Nearby, Netto is waiting to cross the street while complaining that it's taking too long. Rockman asks if he thinks something's wrong, and mentions both crossing and traffic lights are red right now so nothing's moving. Netto notices this too, and Rockman says that he'll go check the traffic control center and see what's going on, asking Netto to plug him into the nearby traffic light. Netto agrees, and plugs into one of the traffc light's ports. Netto arrives in the cyberworld, and notices that the place looks like it was damaged by viruses. Netto notices Glyde collapsed in front of him, and rushes to help. Glyde warns Rockman to watch out for the ball, but the ball sneaks up on Rockman as well as he lets out a large scream. Netto shouts for Rockman, and the ball attempts to strike them again but Rockman and Glyde jump out of the way this time. The ball returns to Coloredman, and he jumps on top of it. Rockman asks if he was responsible for making a mess of the traffic system, and Coloredman introduces himself and shoots his ball at Rockman again. Netto realizes Rockman's in danger, and unplugs and rushes to a port closer to where Rockman is to assist.

Yaito is no longer able to hold it in, and she opens the window and climbs out of her limousine. The driver asks what she's doing, and she shouts that it's an emergency while climbing on top. Netto skates along the same road and notices Yaito. He shouts to her asking what she's doing up there, and an embarassed Yaito whispers she needs to use the bathroom. Netto says he cannot hear her, and more importantly Glyde and Rockman are caught up in trouble at the traffic control center. Yaito hops on several cars towards Netto screaming that she needs to use the bathroom. Carrying her on his back, Netto rushes towards the traffic control center while Yaito screams to hurry. Coloredman launches his ball at Rockman and Glyde again, and they dodge it. Glyde says that the nearest bathroom should be at the traffic control center. Rockman asks if Netto caught what Glyde said, and Netto says he heard it. Rockman dodges Coloredman's ball again, and fires several shots at the ball but they get deflected. Rockman lands back on his feet and the ball returns to Coloredman, who says he can do this as well and launches a fire attack which surrounds them. Netto and Yaito arrive at the traffic control center, and one of the staff ask what they're doing as Netto asks to use their bathroom. They arrive at the bathroom and Netto drops her off and Yaito rushes into it while thanking Netto. He lets out a sigh of relief, but remembers he needs to help Rockman. He looks around and sees some phones nearby.

Glyde asks if Rockman is alrght, and he says he's fine but Coloredman says it's about time to delete them and launches his ball again. As the attack connects, Madoi gives a grin but is shocked to see Rockman still standing unharmed. Netto plugged in his PET into one of the phones just in time, and Rockman thanks Netto. They get ready to fight back, and Netto uses a Sword battle chip and rushes towards Coloredman. Coloredman sends copies of himself towards Rockman, but they all get deleted quickly. Rockman continues towards Coloredman, who panics and unable to fight back but is plugged out by Madoi before Rockman's sword connects. The network returns to normal, and Rockman says they succeeded. A loud noise is heard nearby, and Netto sees Madoi kicking another phone only to hurt herself and throws a fit. Netto watches Madoi, wondering what's up with her. Yaito walks out of the bathroom, thanking Netto and reaches her hand out to him. Netto shakes her hand, but asks if she washed her hands. Yaito gets angry, calling Netto an idiot and hitting him causing Netto to scream in pain. A report announces that the traffic systems' problems have been resolved, and that the traffic conditions aim to return to normal in the evening. The report continues that police suspect that WWW is behind the attack, and that they are investigating.

The next school day, Netto and Meiru are heading to school. Meiru says that it was hard for Yaito to use the bathroom at school since she just transferred there. Netto wonders if this was the case, but is interrupted again by Dekao who barges in to greet Meiru, saying that she's cute as always and tells Netto to stay away from her. Netto is annoyed at Dekao always doing this in the morning, but is distracted by a pink limousine that stops inside the schoolgrounds. Everyone again watches in awe, as Yaito steps out of it and says good morning to everyone. Meiru responds back good morning to Yaito, and Netto mentions that she got a new car. Yaito mentions that even if the traffic's bad, this one has its own bathroom. She turns towards the audience, telling everyone to wash their hands after using the bathroom. Glyde says that Lady Yaito never makes the same mistake twice.

Commentary
This episode marks the debut of another series' regular cast member, Yaito Ayanokoji. Much like her in-game counterpart, she is portrayed as the rich family's sole daughter a.k.a. the 「お嬢様」 (Ojou-sama, lit. young lady) with this introduction of her including extra info on her interests, including the fact that her company is called GABCOM, an obvious parody of CAPCOM. Though I expected her to be hard to like due to her luxuries such as her exaggerated school entrance and lunch, I didn't mind it as much as she was also courteous and surprisingly thankful to those around her; even if she did have her (mild) bratty moments, it was made clear that she's just a child much younger than the rest of the main cast, and it shows.

Much like Dekao's role as comic relief in the second episode, the scenes of him and Netto sneaking into Yaito's home is played for laughs as both of them get tormented for trespassing and eventually thrown outside. On the other hand, I like that this episode shows that Netto and Dekao are friends despite them mostly fighting or quarreling with each other as shown so far in the series, and they can go along with each other's mischief even if it ends in slapstick. Additionally, it seems like Yaito herself wasn't immune to it, having to go through an embarassing situation when she gets a bathroom emergency. Also, given what Glyde said about Yaito never making the same mistake twice, I am convinced that she didn't wash her hands the first time when she shook hands with Netto.

Now with more of the main cast coming together in each episode, I believe we'll see more character introductions come up in the form of scenarios based on the ones from the first game.
Trivia
  • This is the first episode in this series' run which starts with a brief recap and series introduction before the opening.

  • This episode is loosely based on the Coloredman scenario in the first game. Though instead of the scenario involving Meiru being caught in a speeding bus, it is Yaito whose limousine is caught in traffic caused by the chaos during her bathroom emergency.

  • Yaito Ayanokoji is based on one of the NPCs in Rockman DASH 2 found in the Pokte Village mayor's house/school. Similarly, they share the trait of being intelligent.

  • Glyde is based on one of the Rockman DASH antagonists with the same name, who made his debut in Toron ni Kobun (a.k.a. Misadventures of Tron Bonne). Unlike the DASH continuity however, the EXE version of Glyde is a gentleman and honorable servant to Yaito; the only thing he and the DASH's version of Glyde have in common is their color scheme affinity for flight (though this has yet to be shown in this episode).

  • According to Mariko, she introduces Yaito as having transferred from a school in England. Given the EXE world has different names for each country (e.g. Ameurope, Kingland, Creamland, and so on), it is unclear if this was an oversight in the script or an actual England does exist separately from its supposed equivalents.

  • Yaito's company is called GABCOM, a parody of series developer and publisher CAPCOM.

  • Though possibly just a coincidence, Yaito's self-introduction video starts with the GABCOM logo on a black background, much like the first Rockman EXE game's intro which starts with the CAPCOM logo on a black background.

  • Despite this episode showing Yaito's apparent proficiency in English, her writings on the classroom display appear to be mostly gibberish.

  • Akihara Elementary School's lunch shown in this episode consists of a loaf of bread with butter, cream soup, small salad, sausage, and milk. (At least with the latter, the kids are getting their calcium.)

  • In this episode, Coloredman shouts gleefully for the traffic lights to switch between red and what sounds like Blue. In Japanese culture and language, the word 「青」 (ao) can represent both blue and green depending on the context. Historically, the word explicitly for green 「緑」 (midori) did not exist until later, and supposedly did not come into extensive use until relatively recently (post-WWII). Culturally-speaking, perhaps the word 「青」 could be interpreted closer to "clear" or "fresh" (for example, "clear skies", "fresh natural scenery", and so on).

  • Madoi Iroaya (a.k.a. Ms. Madd) is voiced by Noda Junko in this series, who also does the voice of Iceman later on in this series. Her other major roles include Konno "Kitsune" Mitsune (Love Hina series), Xing Cai (Shin Sangokumusou/Dynasty Warriors series) and Veemon (Digimon series). She is also the voice of Lumine in Rockman X8.

  • Coloredman is voiced by Yuji Ueda, who would go onto voicing Yamitarou Higure (Higsby) starting in the next episode.
