Roll is one of the main characters in Rockman DASH Legends. She is a mechanics specialist who is mainly responsible for the maintenance of their family airship and the weapons & equipment used by Rock during their Digouts and adventures as they search for the Great Legacy.

Born to a family line of Digouters, Roll has been exposed to her grandfather's research and her parents' influence since infancy. Because of their influence, she has grown up with a strong interest in following her family line's profession and has begun her studies & training under her grandfather Barell from an early age.

During her early stages of training, she has shown an exceptional apitude in handling and tinkering with machinery. However, one day she showed some skill in marksmanship using her father's old gun; this caught the attention of Barell who was reluctant to guide her down a path where she will put herself in danger. Because of this, Barell acknowledged her natural talents for machinery and guided her towards handling and maintenance of the family's machinery. However, Roll's curiosity and persistence to learn how to fight, which Barell reluctantly agreed to if it would at least help her defend herself.

When Roll first met the Casquet Family's new adopted member, the name "Rock" suddenly came to her, and thus playfully called this boy by that name, which he has accepted.

Though her parents went missing during an expedition when she was still very young, their absence has only given her a stronger resolve to continue on this path in hopes of finding them one day in spite of her grandfather's reluctance to putting her in dangerous situations.

Roll's personality is best described as compassionate and trustworthy, something which she has always strived to be since she began learning the family business. She cannot stand seeing broken down machines left unused, and and would always want to repair them whenever she can.

Her compassion also extends to the rest of her family, especially towards Rock who she worries for constantly despite teasing him and putting him in dangerous situations (whether as an operator or fighting alongside him as a Spotter).

In contrast to her usual self, however, she also has a stubborn side to her whenever she comes across something she is unable to understand, whether it be some piece of technology that she has never seen or a schematic from some lost era, or something as trivial as family finances. Though her stubbornness tends to peak whenever it comes to matters involving the Great Legacy or her missing parents. Despite this, her actions are rarely out of pure selfishness, and she ultimately still has her family's best interests in mind.

Roll is a highly skilled and effective mechanic who is responsible for the development and maintenance of the majority of the family's equipment including Rock's Digouter equipment and the Flutter. Having studied mechanical design and development at a young age, her skills make her capable of using seemingly useless junk and salvaged parts to develop all kinds of practical tools and weapons. She is also a highly skilled driver and pilot, capable of operating the family airship The Flutter and the support car and handling them in intense situations whether it be an inevitable crash or in the heat of battle.

Another of Roll's main talents is her analytical skills as an Operator for Rock during Digouts. Her data analytical skills and attention to detail are minute, and at times excessive to a fault. However, these traits of hers do not clash with her ability to relate to others, and is genuinely in the interests and safety of Rock and the rest of the family.

Roll is also a talented marksman, capable of hitting small targets despite using her Mathilda handgun which uses inaccurate Fleischer rounds. She is also athletic and was able to fight the Bonnes air pirates as Rock's spotter while armed with her Mathilda handgun, her small custom buster gun, and several grenades. Despite her natural talents, she knows her strongest contributions are as Rock's Digout operator when it comes to exploring ruins; however when there's a situation where operator communicatons don't mean much, Roll and Rock would be glad to have each other's backs.

• The spelling for Roll's surname "Casquet" is taken directly from the manual of DASH 2 (for PSP); the manual for the original PlayStation release spells her surname as "Casket".
• The spelling "Casquet" is also similar to the "Casquette" style of hat/cap, which has French origins.
