Unless you or your group has made a name for themselves, you're treated as outsiders at best and thieves or even air pirates at worst on first sight. Not to mention unless you're that good at the job, your funds are basically in the red all the time (keep in mind that this is even without a mechanic who consumes copious amounts of funding on R&D and maintenance).
